The Mayan Flo standard

We treat your home the way we’d want someone to treat our own family’s

That sentence is the whole business, and it is not a slogan picked because it sounded warm. It is the standard every job gets measured against, from a simple repair to a full custom-home installation.

Respect the home.

Floor protection and surface covering go down before the tools come out.

Use quality materials.

Professional-grade copper, PEX, press fittings and valves — not the cheapest part on the shelf.

Bring the right tools.

Press systems, camera inspection and gas leak detection, on the truck.

Communicate clearly.

You hear what we found and what it costs before anything is opened up.

Install it correctly.

To the manufacturer's spec and to code, including the parts nobody will ever see.

Stand behind the workmanship.

Warranty on parts and labour, stated on your invoice.

Luxury & designer fixtures

Fixtures worth more than the tools that set them

Setting a $4,000 faucet is not the same job as setting a $150 one. The fixture is unforgiving, the surfaces around it are already finished, and there is no version of the work where a scratched slab is acceptable. This is the part of the trade Mayan Flo is built around.

Lines we work with regularly

  • TOTO
  • California Faucets
  • Waterstone
  • Newport Brass
  • GRAFF
  • Phylrich
  • Perrin & Rowe

Experienced with these lines and their specialty tooling. We do not claim authorized-dealer or factory-certified status for any manufacturer.

Tools & materials

Old-school work ethic.
Modern plumbing technology.

Investing in professional equipment is not about looking impressive on a driveway. Press systems make consistent joints in places a torch cannot safely go, a camera turns a guess into a diagnosis, and proper leak detection finds the problem without opening four walls to look for it.

Equipment on the truck

  • Professional press tools and copper press systems
  • Gas press systems and close-quarter press equipment
  • Professional drain and rooter equipment
  • Sewer camera inspection equipment
  • Gas leak detection and diagnostic equipment
  • Specialty tooling for high-end fixture lines

What goes into your walls

  • Copper, PEX-A, ABS, PVC and MDPE, each where it belongs
  • Professional press and gas-press fittings
  • Quality ball valves, angle stops and connectors
  • Manufacturer-approved components
  • Materials chosen for the application, not the invoice

The parts nobody will ever see are the ones that decide whether you call us again in ten years or in ten months.

What happens when you call

01

You call, Oscar answers

You talk to the person who will be doing the work, not a call centre. Describe what is happening and we will tell you honestly whether it is urgent, and when we can be there.

02

We diagnose, then price

We find the actual cause rather than the obvious symptom, explain what we found, and give you the number and the options before anything starts.

03

You approve, we work

Nothing happens on a surprise. The work gets done to spec, the site gets cleaned, and the warranty is on your invoice in writing.

Common questions

Before you call

Not on the list? Ask when you call — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Thousand Oaks and work across the Conejo Valley: Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Simi Valley and Moorpark, plus Camarillo, Calabasas, Bell Canyon, Hidden Valley, Lake Sherwood and Somis. That spans both Ventura County and Los Angeles County, and we permit in both.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Mayan Flo Plumbing LLC holds California CSLB C-36 Plumbing Contractor license #1140851, and we are bonded and insured. You can verify any California contractor's licence status directly on the CSLB website, and you should — for us and for anyone else quoting your job.

Do you charge for estimates?

For straightforward replacement work quoted from a site visit, no. For diagnostic work — a hidden leak, a recurring drain problem, a pressure fault — there is a diagnostic charge, because finding the cause is the actual work. Either way you hear the number before we begin.

Are you the cheapest plumber in the Conejo Valley?

No, and we do not try to be. You are paying for diagnosis rather than guesswork, professional-grade materials, the right tools, permitted work where a permit is required, and a company that comes back if something is not right. On the work we do, the cheapest quote is usually the most expensive outcome.

Do you work on both high-end and everyday plumbing?

Both, and they are the same company with the same standard. We install NEOREST systems and designer wall-mount faucets in custom homes, and we also replace angle stops and clear kitchen drains. The work is different; the way we treat your house is not.

Water running where it shouldn’t?

Call and talk to Oscar directly. You will get a straight answer about how urgent it is and when we can be there.
